Water Scarcity Traveling Art Exhibit Launches at GEMFS!

David Brewster is creating a suite of large-scale contemporary oil paintings designed to provoke the imagination and awareness of the general public. This traveling exhibit will officially launch at the GEMFS in Denver in July, 2023. It will also be coordinated with the unveiling of the solutions selected as part of the Colorado River Water Scarcity Challenge led by Quantified Ventures and Earth Recovery Partners and funded by the Walton Foundation and the Gates Family Foundation. The paintings will represent four significant themes related to water scarcity: history, devastation, crisis, and solutions.
The traveling exhibit of paintings will interpret the current crisis using educational narratives contemporaneous with the identification of potential solutions selected through the Water Scarcity Challenge. This exhibit will serve as an impactful platform to bring increased awareness of the challenges we face and how we can all be a part of the solution.
