Julia Kertz Grant

General Manager, Value Added Services
Hancock Natural Resource Group

Julia leads the new value-added revenue strategy on 3.6 million acres of U.S. timberlands.   Oversees a team of specialists focused on management of carbon banks and wetland mitigation projects, enhancement of wildlife habitat, and development of new recreation opportunities, renewable energy projects and markets for timber by-products.

A self-starter with high ethical standards that complement Julia’s work experience at the intersection of public policy, sustainability, forestry, land conservation and natural resource management.  Successfully led efforts to bring a range of partners together to brainstorm a solution, outline implementation steps, delegate responsibilities and achieve long-term goals.
