David brings three decades in the financial sector to managing global environmental challenges. As CEO, David has spent the last 8 years growing The Earth Partners platform into a portfolio of operating companies supporting land restoration across the U.S. He is also a senior executive at Forest Trends, a Washington DC-based NGO that uses markets and policy to value ecosystem services, where he works to bring private sector investment to low-carbon land use strategies. David previously served as Head of Markets for Climate Change Capital in London, raising the largest private sector environmental market fund to date and investing over $800 million in carbon-reducing projects. He also served as Executive Chairman of the Consodata Group, a 600-person Paris Stock Exchange-listed company that he successfully restructured and sold in 2004.
